Meet Calan!
Calan (and mom) came to the studio yesterday for his newborn session at six-days-old. What a sweet, beautiful boy. My heart was just filled with him. What a wonderful day. The images speak for themselves.

On Saturday, I was so excited to help in celebrating the wedding of Natasha and Jason! It was one of those weeks during which we checked the weather daily because of the possible rain (and SNOW) in the forecast but thankfully, we were blessed with a gorgeous yet chilly day. Congratulations Natasha and Jason!

Yesterday, I ventured into DC on the warmest day of this weekend to see the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms. What a wonderful afternoon full of love and Earth’s goodness.

Last weekend, Nancy and I were so excited to photograph Caitlin and Tim’s wedding in Fredericksburg, Virginia! Here is a sneak peek at our day (more to come!)!

Last week, I went to Harrisonburg, Virginia to meet little William. What a beautiful boy and wonderful addition to the family! Congratulations Tara and Gene (and you’re a great big sister, Elizabeth!)!

Yesterday morning, I met little three-week old Charlotte for her newborn session. She must have decided that as a three-week old she is a big girl and she would not sleep during the session, even with a really warm studio and lots of milk in her belly. She was adorable and so fun to have to the studio! And two hours in, she decided to take a ten minute nap….

Last week, I met little Jason in Leesburg, Virginia. He didn’t want to miss a thing during our session and loved looking right at me (possibly future model….). What a great time!

A few weeks ago, Sadira and I went on a Lucy School adventure after art class and took some pictures while we looked for any possible signs of spring. Since we didn’t find any quite yet, we decided we would embrace winter for another month and then hunt for spring again!
