We have a secret project at Hough Photography and you’re the first ones to know. It’s going to be the most incredible thing we have done yet but I can’t say any more for now other than, this winter we’ll be hard at work to launch something that will explode this spring…
Yesterday, I met Tara Cofiell of Tara Hope Photography for a family session. She and her husband havea three-year-old named Sam and identical twin boys on the way… talk about a spirited household! We met at Stone Manor and walked the grounds, running part of the way to stay warm! It was great meeting all three, I mean FIVE, of you!
Yesterday was the day for Scott’s three-month session. I LOVE the picture of the Palko family and Scott’s contagious smile!
Yesterday, I was able to photograph two of my favorite models ever – Devin and Odessa, two kids I taught when I taught down in Virginia. I completely took them out of their comfort zone in Occoquan Regional Park and we had so much fun with it! Odessa had a friend, Kayla, along with her, so it was fun to take pictures of the girls, as well.
Yesterday morning, I met up with Caitlin and Tim at Occoquan Regional Park in Woodbridge, Virginia for their engagement session. I am so excited about their March wedding and yesterday was a perfect day to kick start their wedding collection with gorgeous fall images of a gorgeous couple!
On Saturday, I met some wonderful families at Cabin John Park in Bethesda, Maryland for a fall portrait party. It was so fun to see all of these families and play with the kids on an unusually warm November morning!
This afternoon, I met up with Ava and Katrina at Lucy School in Middletown for some great afternoon shots of this gorgeous family. As the sun went down, it cooled off quickly, but we had a great time in the last warmth of the day.
This week, I drove down to Warrenton, Virginia to meet Rachel, Jennifer and Tom’s five-month-old daughter. I photographed Jennifer and Tom’s wedding a couple of years ago and it is always great to catch up with them!
This morning I woke up to find out that not only is there an article in the newspaper about my trip to Liberia, West Africa, but the show and kids who I met in Liberia made the cover! What great exposure for a greatly underacknowledged area of our world.
Last night was an amazing LAST tent wedding of the season at Stone Manor. It was definitely the perfect way to end the season – Jen and Dan are such a fun couple! I think we were all amazed by the weather yesterday and a year ago, while booking an outdoor venue for a November wedding, you couldn’t have dreamed for a better day!
