On Sunday, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Chris and Melissa’s wedding in Washington DC. Chris and Melissa found me through the “So you’re engayged” website as they planned their special day at Hotel Tabard Inn. Congratulations, Chris and Melissa! I hope you have an amazing time on your coming trip!!

I got to know Cassie and Bryant nearly two years ago when we did their engagement session on a cold December morning in DC. It’s been such a blessing getting to know this incredible couple. We had a wonderful day on Saturday for their wedding – a perfectly warm late September day. Congratulations to both of you!!!!

Yesterday, I met Brittany in Myersville for her senior session. We had a fantastic time exploring the park and enjoying the sunshine of the afternoon. Brittany is really interested in environmental sustainability and several kinds of art so we had lots to talk about! It was so fun meeting you, Brittany!

Last night, I met Ashley and Justin in Myersville for what turned out to be part one of their engagement session. What an AWESOME couple. Unfortunately, the clouds moved in and we didn’t get the sun flare shots we were going for. In good news, this means, next week I get to meet up with them again for part two of our shoot! Here’s a sneak peek…

Today was my nephew’s first soccer game! He must have been the kid with the biggest fan club there and he definitely made it worth the trip! Here is a photo recap along with some commentary by me…
Elijah began the game with a dance…while every other kid ran onto the field, he moonwalked and spun his way to starting position.

My favorite part about this photo is that the ball is behind all of the players yet none of them are turning … plus Elijah’s own teammate is clothes-lining him…

Younger sister = fan #1. Ciana watching the game…

Elijah’s game face after scoring a goal!

The best way to watch soccer – on Daddy’s shoulders!

Yesterday morning, Joni, Cory, Cooper, and I spent the morning on the farm for their family session. It was so much fun! I’ve known Joni since I was four or five years old and it’s so fun to spend time catching up. And seriously, how cute is Cooper??? ADORABLE! Plus, there’s another on the way…….
