This week, Susan, Mark, and I met for their early morning engagement session and witnessed an absolutely gorgeous sunrise in the countryside. I am totally a morning person and as I watched the sunrise over the mountains and fields of Middletown, decided that Middletown is the reason I am such a morning person. Who wouldn’t fall in love with morning mountain sunrises?
I can’t wait until your October wedding, Susan and Mark! What a FUN couple!!

Amanda and Andy – Stone Manor – Middletown, Maryland

This past weekend, I was so lucky to be part of Amanda and Andy’s wedding day. The day was filled with love, laughter, awesome families, even more awesome shoes (I’m a sucker for good shoe choices), a very beer-knowledgeable couple. Perfection! Congratulations, Amanda and Andy! Enjoy EUROPE!

This evening, Alex, Jordan, and I met in downtown Frederick for their engagement shoot. We had an awesome time exploring the nooks of downtown and shooting through dusk. I can’t wait until next year’s wedding!!

A new building by Fitzgerald Architects – Frederick, Maryland
Date: Tuesday June 22, 2010Posted in: Photography
I was asked to do some architectual photography for Fitzgerald Architects of a newly finished dentist’s office in Frederick. It was fantastic to see the space in it’s early stages and then revisit the space after the construction and interior design had been completed. What a change! It is an amazingly well thought out space and I was so happy to be asked to photograph the design.

Yesterday, Nenita and I spent the morning outside to try to beat the heat of the day. We decided mid-morning wasn’t exactly beating the heat but once it was really hot out, we were finished with the shoot. Our shoot included books, tutus, outfit changes, wild flowers, and fairy wings – in my book, it doesn’t get much better than that!

This evening I met up with Jessica and Dave for their engagement pictures out in Myersville. We had a great time and I am SO excited for their upcoming wedding!

This morning, I met two-week old Landon Isaac for the first time. I photographed his parents’ wedding last year and was so excited to meet little Landon. Here’s a sneak peak – who can resist baby feet?

Happy 1st birthday, Celeste!

I spent part of this morning with Celeste - the beautifully happy and adventurous one-year-old daughter to one of my college running buddies, Andi, and her husband, Mark. Gorgeous!

Last night, I met Aly and Darren out in Shepherdstown, West Virginia for their engagement session. FINALLY! We all joked about how fantastic it was when we all got there because we started to think this shoot was destined to not happen after being rained out a few times. We started out the session with Guiness, their 95-lb pup, then let Darren’s mom take Guiness while we finished up. I am SO excited for the October wedding!

Yesterday, I joined Rachel and her family and friends to celebrate her upcoming August wedding with a fabulous bridal shower at Maryland National Golf Club. What a great time!
Rachel is an awesome basketball coach (and helped my team when I was on the middle school varsity team) so her centerpieces were potted in cut basketballs (PERFECT!).
