This past weekend, I was up on PA to celebrate a good friend’s wedding. Andria and Adam have been together for 9 years (as was noted by family members throughout the day…) and I was SO excited that everything worked out so I could photograph their wedding and share in the day with them. We began at Andria’s parents’ house then went to the country club for the ceremony and reception. What a beautiful day spent with two absolutely beautiful people (and families!).
Congratulations Andria and Adam!! YAY!

Last night, I met Shea to take some updated headshots. Remember this face. Shea is an actress and singer. Her demo is going to Virgin Records this summer. She’s so full of energy and full of life.

On Sunday, I drove out to Thorpewood in Thurmont, Maryland to take part in Zoe and Dave’s wedding. What a GORGEOUS place … and gorgeous couple! I have known Dave most of my life. He and my younger brother were inseparable and are great friends.
Zoe and Dave were blessed with a perfect day filled with warmth, beauty, and love.
Congratulations, Zoe and Dave!
Zoe’s sister and mom spent six months creating over 1,000 paper cranes … they were amazing!

I spent the day Saturday with Desiree and James, celebrating their gorgeous wedding. I met up with Desiree and the girls first at the Methodist church in Middletown. You could feel the excitement in the air. After a little while with them, I hung out with the guys as they cracked jokes to cover any nerves. The ceremony was beautiful, the weather cleared up for a great afternoon of pictures, and we enjoyed a wonderful reception at Dutch’s Daughter in Frederick.

Yesterday, I spent the day at Stone Manor in Middletown, celebrating the marriage of Liz and Ben. What a beautiful day full of excitement, energy, and love! Just a few weeks ago, I met up with Liz and Ben for their engagement session in Annapolis. After that session, I knew this wedding would be SO fun!

This past Sunday, my assistant, Nancy and I spent the day at La Grange Winery in Haymarket, Virginia. My friend Lori chose the spot, gathered four other families to hang out, drink sangria, have a picnic, and spend a little time with us getting family pictures. We lucked out with a beautiful afternoon and a little break from the heat and humidity. All in all, a WONDERFUL day! Thank you, Lori! You’re the best!

This past weekend, I met up with Kristyn and Jeff down in Virginia Beach for their engagement session. Back in the winter months, we planned on March originally for this shoot but then pushed it to June while talking in February (and realizing it wouldn’t ACTUALLY be warm in March…). We lucked out with a gorgeous morning!
Kristyn and Jeff got engaged at the bay while collecting sea glass. We wanted to take some pictures while they searched for sea glass to add to their collection. So much fun! I can’t wait until June 2010 for your wedding, Kristyn and Jeff!

I recently met Liz and Ben in Annapolis for their engagement session. We met about an hour before the sun began setting so we had enough time to explore downtown as well as the docks. It was a perfect evening with SO many great shots but here are a few of my favorites…I can’t wait until your wedding, Liz and Ben!!

I am just catching up on my blog (please forgive me – lots is going on!)…I recently spent the morning with the Hearle family in Bethesda, Maryland. What a fun morning! We lucked out with some great weather and found a beautiful spot steps from their home so as not to tote the twins all over. It was so great meeting you, Hearle family!!
