McCauley and Luke

Posted in Photography, Portrait Photography at 12:14 pm by Liz

After the engagement session in Middletown, I drove out to Myersville to take pictures of one of my photography students and her family.  I teach a little photography class to a few 3rd graders and McCauley is one of my brave students.  McCauley’s brother, Luke, was also part of the shoot so after taking McCauley’s lead, we found some fun spots for pictures in the park and had a good time exploring (and even got some family pictures in the beginning!).

E-pics!

Posted in Photography, Portrait Photography at 12:11 pm by Liz

This morning I met up with a couple from Ellicott City who came to Middletown Park for an engagement session with their two one year old pups.  Everyone knows I’m a dog person so this was a lot of fun!  We had the added bonus of all of the geese hanging out at the pond so the combination of the animals made for some fun times.

The grandkids…

Posted in Photography, Portrait Photography at 9:06 am by Liz

Thanksgiving is a great time for portraits because lots of families are together for the holiday.  This was the case for the Richards’ and they chose to take advantage of the opportunity for pictures of all of the grandkids.  It was fun to see all them interact with each other and show off the different families!  Thanks for having me!

Four generations of strong women

Posted in Photography, Portrait Photography at 9:03 am by Liz

Yesterday afternoon, I met up with a friend of mine from high school, her 6 month old daughter, her mother, and her 100 year old grandmother.  They wanted to take pictures of the four generations of strong women.  It was absolutely beautiful.  It was great seeing all of you (and meeting you, Elizabeth)!

The Mascaros

Posted in Photography, Portrait Photography at 9:00 am by Liz

Yesterday morning, I began the day by heading up to meet The Mascaro family in Middletown.  As soon as I walked into their home, I could tell they are a big picture family which made it a lot of fun!  We took big family shots and then braved the cold for some shots outside.  Great morning – it was fun to meet all of you!

On Sunday afternoon, I met up with my second Ellie of the weekend …. and Tori, Chris, and Matt.  I teach with Chris at Lucy School and had so much fun meeting her family at their beautiful home.  We took a few pictures inside then headed out to the yard for a few more family pictures then I got to follow the girls around to see their special places along the path.  What a fun **cold** afternoon!

Ellie

Posted in Photography, Portrait Photography at 4:02 pm by Liz

On Saturday morning, I met up with Ellie in Fredericksburg, Virginia for our second photo shoot.  The first time I took pictures of Ellie, she was just one and we stuck her in a pumpkin and now as a big two-year-old, we had fun inside and then outside with piles of leaves.  A very exciting and extremely dirty shoot but fun!

Sami and Dave

Posted in Photography, Wedding Photography at 7:46 pm by Liz

This past Saturday, I photographed Sami and Dave’s wedding at the Castle at Maryvale in Baltimore.  What an amazing location and fun couple!!  I had a blast getting to know both of them and their friends and family as I shot getting ready pictures, the ceremony, and the reception (filled with 80’s tunes hand selected by the bride and groom).

 Congratulations Sami and Dave!
