Christy and Mike – Black Ankle Vineyard, Mt. Airy, Maryland
Date: Thursday September 2, 2010Posted in: Photography, Portrait Photography
Last night, I met Christy and Mike at Black Ankle Vineyard (my FAVORITE vineyard) for a fun shoot. They celebrated their seventh anniversary last month and thought it was time for another set of professional pictures! Of course, I thought this was a great idea. Christy and Mike own a small vineyard a few hours from here so they wanted the vineyard feel but more local. It worked out perfectly!

Last night, I took family pictures of Abby, Jonathan, and their two furry toddlers out on a gorgeous farm in Middletown. We lucked out with a perfect evening and truly had a perfect setting!

Last night, I met up with Jen and Matt at Frederick Municipal Airport for their engagement session. Flying is a huge part of Matt’s family, has become a huge part of Jen and Matt’s relationhip, and they have their family plane at this airport. Here’s a sneak peek at the fun we had!

August Portrait Party – Bethesda, Maryland
Date: Monday August 9, 2010Posted in: Photography, Portrait Photography
Yesterday, Rachel and Tim invited a bunch of their friends over for an afternoon of good times, laughter, and pictures. Portrait parties are so fun and a great way to get yearly pictures of the kids!

This past Saturday morning, I met up with Ellie and her little brother, Mason, for pictures in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This was my fourth shoot with Ellie so she came prepared with all of her favorite outfits, books, toys, and accessories. My kind of girl! We had a great time in Old Mill Park before it got too warm!

My little photogenic 4-legged, furry children love having their picture taken….

I met Owen and Olivia in Myersville today for their portrait shoot. Both Owen and Olivia were Lucy School kids when I taught there so it was so fun to catch up with them and hear all they had been up to this summer!

Last night, I explored Harper’s Ferry with Jen and Dan during their engagement session. What a cute town! For some reason, I had never been in town – just to the parks. I loved the stories they told about their relationship and each other as we walked. We had a fantastic time and I’m so excited for their November wedding.

This morning, I drove down to Alexandria to take family pictures for one of my favorite families from when I taught in Virginia. It was awesome seeing all of them and catching up! Thanks for inviting me down, Terry!
