This past weekend was Heather and Troy’s wedding.  Heather is the daughter of my awesome, beautiful, talented assistant, Nancy Zook so 1. Heather has spent her life being the subject of photographs and 2. spending the weekend with the Zook family is always fun!  Heather and Troy had their ceremony at the Botanical Gardens then we went to Lesner Inn for a gorgeous reception.  What a great weekend!  Congratulations, Heather and Troy!

Last Sunday, I photographed Jessica and Dave’s wedding at Stone Manor.  We woke up to a day forecasted with an 85% chance of rain for an outdoor wedding – ah!  Luckily, someone was watching over Jessica and Dave’s day and it turned out to be GORGEOUS!  Congratulations, Jessica and Dave!

This weekend was FULL!  It started on Friday evening photographing Rachel and Randy’s rehearsal, followed by their fairytale wedding on Saturday, followed by Jessica and Dave’s gorgeous wedding on Sunday.  Three days.  Three events.  One location (Stone Manor).  Love it!

Here’s a sneak peak while I organize….

Yesterday, I spent the day celebrating Melissa and Clayton’s wedding.  I have been looking forward to this wedding for SO long (and reminded about the countdown everyday via Melissa’s gchat status. :)   Melissa and Clayton were definitely used to me by the time their wedding day arrived because we did an awesome engagement shoot in Annapolis (where they got engaged) and they were adventurous enough to volunteer to be my models as I explored a couple of broken down silos I’ve been obsessed with for over a year now.  The wedding was AMAZING and truly the joining of two wonderful people and two wonderful families.  Congratulations, Melissa and Clayton!

Kelly and Pepe – Surprise wedding!

Date: Sunday August 1, 2010
Posted in: Photography, Wedding Photography

Last night, I photographed my very first SURPRISE wedding!  Kelly and Pepe hosted a backyard BBQ and took their guests by surprise when they announced that they would also be getting married right then and there!  I described what was happening to my entire family the night before and we all thought it was brilliant (so did everyone in attendance last night).  What a perfect day for family, friends, fun, and marriage.  Congratulations, Kelly and Pepe!

Hottest day of the year + outdoor wedding = STILL the best day ever!  I have been looking forward to Chelsea and Matt’s wedding for over a year, since we did their engagement session.  It was so incredibly hot outside but we had a great time and it was a beautiful celebration!  Congratulations, Chelsea and Matt!

Nancy and I headed to Hollow Creek Golf Club on Saturday afternoon to spend the day celebrating the wedding of Sharon and Joey.  What started as a very dreary morning turned out to be a gorgeous day for their outdoor ceremony.  Sharon and Joey wanted fun pictures taken of guests in the room next to the ballroom during the reception so Nancy and I put our heads together and came up with a great way to get everyone energized and excited about their model shoots at the photo booth.   The entire day was so much fun.  Congratulations, Sharon and Joey! :)

The 4th of July turned out to be a fantastic (although hot) day for Katie and Rob’s wedding at Stone Manor Country Club in Middletown.  I’ve known Katie my whole life, starting as little Brownie’s through high school soccer and basketball.  It was so awesome to be able to capture the memories of the day.  It was especially awesome to watch as Katie, Rob, and the two kids (Hannah and Adam) celebrated their family of four.  Congratulations Katie and Rob!
