Christy and Mike – Black Ankle Vineyard, Mt. Airy, Maryland
Date: Thursday September 2, 2010Posted in: Photography, Portrait Photography
Last night, I met Christy and Mike at Black Ankle Vineyard (my FAVORITE vineyard) for a fun shoot. They celebrated their seventh anniversary last month and thought it was time for another set of professional pictures! Of course, I thought this was a great idea. Christy and Mike own a small vineyard a few hours from here so they wanted the vineyard feel but more local. It worked out perfectly!

Last night, I took family pictures of Abby, Jonathan, and their two furry toddlers out on a gorgeous farm in Middletown. We lucked out with a perfect evening and truly had a perfect setting!

Melissa and Clayton – Middletown, Maryland
Date: Sunday August 15, 2010Posted in: Photography, Wedding Photography
Yesterday, I spent the day celebrating Melissa and Clayton’s wedding. I have been looking forward to this wedding for SO long (and reminded about the countdown everyday via Melissa’s gchat status.
Melissa and Clayton were definitely used to me by the time their wedding day arrived because we did an awesome engagement shoot in Annapolis (where they got engaged) and they were adventurous enough to volunteer to be my models as I explored a couple of broken down silos I’ve been obsessed with for over a year now. The wedding was AMAZING and truly the joining of two wonderful people and two wonderful families. Congratulations, Melissa and Clayton!

Father Kevin – you made it in the blog! Now to work on getting a close up candid…

Wheelbarrow racing….every bridal party should do it…

Melissa’s brother, Paul, played a couple of songs – beautiful!

Yesterday, Rachel and Tim invited a bunch of their friends over for an afternoon of good times, laughter, and pictures. Portrait parties are so fun and a great way to get yearly pictures of the kids!

This past Saturday morning, I met up with Ellie and her little brother, Mason, for pictures in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This was my fourth shoot with Ellie so she came prepared with all of her favorite outfits, books, toys, and accessories. My kind of girl! We had a great time in Old Mill Park before it got too warm!
